Recently ago, Google introduced image look-up in Google Images, there you can upload an image or insert the URL of an image to find in which sites that image’s been published.

This opens up an array of options and new SEO Factors which may be taken into account by Google to classify look-up results.

Search a product given a photo or image

We Adrenalina have carried out some tests and searched various objects, brands, texts and book with the “Goggles” app, which allows us to take a photo and search in Google Images.

The search engine doesn’t work too well but the reactions are interesting to see.

Were it to find a product, it shows various images of that product, those images are linked to an e-commerce, thus having an e-commerce site’s images be well positioned can be interesting were this look-up system to gain relevance.
